After a perfect ending to October, Whistler woke this morning to a thin blanket of fresh snow on the Nicklaus North Golf Course and much of the valley. Mother nature kept the moisture away while the kids invaded the neighborhoods to fill bags with candy and then overnight winter decide to get started. The green grass is still poking through the snow on the fairways, but the blend of green and white is a sure sign that the mountains will be open and the cross country trails will be getting ready soon.
